I worked 9-stitch cables on a 3-stitch wide garter background [So
that I was able to purl the whole way on the back and not have to count stitches. This saves alot of time!] down both
sleeves, at both front edges, and down the back. For the 1:1 ribbing, I switched to smaller needles. I picked
up both button bands (99 sitiches each!) after the rest wast finished.
It follows the recipe for the regular raglan sweater, but I knit back and forth,
leaving the front open so I didn't have to cut it. This is a good method if you don't mind purling. If you don't
want to purl, knit it in the round.
