This sweater is
knit from the top down, in bulky yarn on size 13 (9mm) needles for a high-speed knit. The boldly contrasting borders, patterned
sleeve “seams,” and gigantic buttons add visual interest and a Mod sensibility.
The body of the
sweater is fully fitted via the incorporation of bust and back darts, and the sleeves are shaped at both shoulder and elbow.
Worn open, the sweater takes on a bolero-style shape. Closed, it is a mini cardigan.
